Swift Owners was first formed in July 2006 by myself (James Simpson - Jamz) and his other half Sarah, whom is a fellow Suzuki Swift owner. After finding no sites through their search for a dedicated Suzuki Swift site in UK, we decided to create our very own owners club for Swifts. As I was already a member to a fairly large Owners Club, I knew what information everyone likes to know and find out. Everyone who owns cars like to know the same things... If car users have a problem with their car, the same problem may have happened to someone else, and know how to correct the problem.

So the club name was decided to be something to do with swifts, going through a list of names we had come up with, we decided with the easy and simple name of SwiftOwners.co.uk.

Once server space and the domain name was purchased, the forum instantly went up, and started gaining a few members. The main website was still to be started, but was already designed on paper.

As of now the site is sill well into its construction, letting pages appear online as soon as they are finished to let people know what the site is all about.

The club is growing fairly quickly, which is good as this site is run by not just by Swift Owners Administration, but mainly by you, the members and users of the Swift Owners Club.

Now that the site has gained an amazing amount of users, the site seems to have outgrown its self and bandwidth, we have had to change the server to a new server with unlimited bandwidth and space, which means a much bigger site could be put on the World Wide Web. So this is where this site has come from.
